The state has favorable climatic conditions for cultivation of various fruit and horticultural crops. It is rich in natural resources such as natural gas, rubber, tea and medicinal plants.

Tripura is one of the Seven Sister states of North East India. It is the dream destination of nature lovers. It is rich in culture, which can be clearly witnessed by the monuments and heritage spots in the state.

Bengali is the official language of Agartala. People also speak in Hindi and some other tribal languages.
