Goa is a small state situated on the western coast of India. It was liberated from the rule of Portuguese in 1961 and is considered as the 25th State in the Union of States of India. In 30 May 1987, it became a separate state.

Located on the Western Ghats of Konkan, Goa is known as the smallest and the fourth smallest populated state of India. Goa is bounded by Maharashtra to its north, eastern and southern boundaries were formed by Karnataka, while the western coast is formed by Arabian Sea. It is also considered as the richest Indian state.

The largest city of Goa is Vasco da Gama while Panaji is the capital. Margao is known as the historic city of Goa that reflects the Portuguese culture. It is because the Portuguese landed here as merchants first and conquered the land in the early 16th century.

International and domestic tourists visit this tiny state every year, in a large number. Tourists are attracted to its golden beaches, architecture and places of worship. It is a biodiversity hotspot and is rich in flora and fauna.

Goa is known for sharing harmonious relationship among its various religious communities, living peacefully for generations. Goa is regarded as one of the best states of India in terms of investment environment and infrastructure.

Upon arrival in Goa, our representative will meet you and help you transfer to your hotel. Check-in into the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Go around exploring the local area at your own pace, or visit the nearest beach to behold the sunset

Day 2: North Goa Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel Vagator Beach: The crescent shape beach known for Sunburn is secluded in other months of the year. The cracked rocks surrounding the beach is one of the best North Goa attractions. 2. Anjuna Beach: The beach nests between the Aravalli hills. It is famous for its flea market that is set on every Wednesday and the awe-inspiring view it renders. 3. Calangute Beach: It is named as “queen of beaches” by many tourists. Shopaholics—big showrooms of graceful handicrafts from Indonesia, Tibet and Kashmir are lined up on the main road alongside the beach. 4. Sinquerim Beach: This sandy beach is frequented by adventure enthusiasts, for, it offers the best opportunities to try water sports in Goa like Scuba diving, water-skiing, wind-surfing and much more. 5. Candolim Beach: There are no shops, restaurants or any commercial activity. It is a calm and peaceful beach with pacific water. Scrubs covered dunes at the back is the major attraction. Try to cover mostly places. After then return to hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel embark on a full-day South Goa sightseeing tour. The tour starts with visit to Shri Mangueshi Temple, one of the most visited temples in Goa. Following the temple, continue towards the churches and convents of Old Goa (UNESCO World Heritage Site) like Basilica of Bom Jesus, Church of Our Lady and Se Cathedral. Post lunch, visit the idyllic Dona Paula Bay to enjoy spectacular views of the Mormugao Harbour. Later take a walk at the Miramar Beach. Make your holiday in Goa more memorable by indulging in street shopping at the Panjim Market. In the evening, you can also go for river boat cruise ride at the Mandovi River (at extra cost and permitted you have time to cover it). Return to the hotel for Overnight stay
